Bowker Machinery manufacture, install and train in
the use of industrial powder coating equipment. We
offer conveyorised powder coating plant for customers
with manufacturing operations of sufficient size to
make this type of plant economical. Our powder coating
equipment can be customised to your individual requirements
allowing us to offer you the solution that best suits
your situation. We have extensive knowledge and experience
in the powder coating industry and our current products
are the culmination of many years work and continual
improvements to our designs.
Our specialist products include a side opening curing
oven with two doors on one side allowing full length
loading is ideal when heavy columns or similar items
are to be coated as they can be loaded into oven directly
by fork lift truck.
We have specialised in this design and utilise a
strong framework to allow the roof panels to be suspended
thereby keeping all heavy structural steel outside
the oven and away from the heat to eliminate heat
distortion. This type of oven has been successfully
installed throughout Europe.
Conveyorised plants can use either a motorised conveyor
or free (push and pull) type. This type benefits from
the fact that the oven doors can be closed thereby
greatly reducing the running costs and in addition
the spray operator has ample time to spray the product
correctly, also the capital costs are much lower.
In the experience of our founder and chief engineer
motorised plants are only economical on very long
production runs or fairly small components.
